We checked out a few days ago
The place is so good but the caretakers aren’t doing it justice. The 2 ladies and 2 men(one is the chef)
The kitchen was so dirty throughout . The worktop surfaces was filthy. The stove was oily . The drawers were dirty, soy sauce poured in one that contained spices etc.
Our white comforter had make up marks, meaning it wasn’t changed. The room had a leak and a filthy blue chair in the corner. The bathroom didn’t have a door but a stained cloth hanged badly acted as a door. The room wasn’t cleaned well , so much dirt on tue floor.
Cobwebs all over the rooms
The board games on the tables smelt horrible. Most likely some liquor spilled over them. We had A broken glass table as our coffee table.
The remote control had tapes all over, the batteries we bitten(had teeth marks) to force them to work.
The chef is so moody- he’s in the customer service section he should try to be engaging atleast and even ask how the food was. Very boring.
John, Joy and the other lady are quite engaging but need a professional to lead them in the day to day activities of the home.
They slept before we slept, we couldn’t find firewood to put in the fire pit, we went to call them at their sleeping quarters, they weee asleep.
We had to go inside the house coz it was getting cold. Little did we know it rained and all the garden chair cushions got rained on.
The next morning it was a mess. They woke up after us, chef prepared breakfast while the living room was still dirty. We sat there and he asked them to come clean the living room. You should see how they cleaned. A joke!
Also tell them not to eat visitors food . They ate while we were still around. Even one of us missed food.
Overall the place is a wonderful place , there is great room for improvement if only the owner had professionals working there.
